Streamline Health Services provides safety and aquatics training
for groups and individuals located in Southern California.

As an independent contractor, we provide
On-Site American Red Cross
training and certification for the following courses:

+ Water Safety Instructor

In the United States, drowning is the seventh leading cause of unintentional injury deaths for all ages and the second leading cause of all injury deaths each year for those 1-14 years of age (far behind motor vehicle crashes). In 2000, more than 1400 US children under age 20 years drowned (Center of Diseases Control, 2004).

Streamline Health Services provides Water Safety Instructor courses by certified, experienced instructor trainers. Quality, consistency, and accountability drive our passion for water safety education, and we will make certain you and your swim instructor staff performs to the highest industry standard.

Group Rates & Course Description

American Red Cross Certification
Classes taught during business hours, evening hours, and on Saturday.
You may create your own class combination. On-Site training is available.

+ Water Safety Instructor
Course Fee - $165.00 / per person - class size 20 to 40 people
Course designed to train and certify instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim programs, Community water safety programs, Basic Water Rescue and Safety Training for Swim Coaches.

Participants must be 16 years of age and able to demonstrate proficient strokes: 25 yards front crawl, 25 yards back crawl, 25 yards elementary backstroke, 25 yards sidestroke, 25 yards breaststroke and 10 yards butterfly.

Participants must attend all scheduled class dates and times, demonstrate proficient land and water skills and pass a written exam with a score of at least 80 percent. Upon successful completion of the Water Safety Instructor course, candidates will receive a Water Safety Instructor certification valid for 2 years.
